Rumour has it this walnut table once sat inside the walls of the Parliament building. We can't confirm it, but we love the story. What we can confirm is that the wood stopped us in our tracks. We fell in love with the contrasting grain patterns. So we did what felt right: we tried to preserve the table’s identity and long history, and only introduced some low-key planets to the legs that already looked like celestial objects. In leaving the top almost entirely alone, except for a gentle polish, we allow the walnut to do most of the talking. Some objects don't need reinventing. They just need a little shine and a new home.
