Made in Italy, and found in Tirana; how it crossed the Adriatic, we will never know. What we imagine: it held a grandfather's feet after long, slow days, through morning, midday and evening news, grandchildren's visits, and rakia breaks. We refinished the wood and reupholstered it in corduroy. Whatever the story was, it deserved a second chapter.
